“I would like to pay tribute to the negotiating teams and mediator Mike Tosi of the National Mediation Board for their commitment to resolving outstanding issues and reaching this agreement for our agents,” said Mr. Fébregas. “A great deal of effort and discussion has been made to satisfy all parties and to create a strong framework for more collaborative cooperation for years to come.” IRVING, Texas, August 14, 2019 – Envoy Air Inc., the largest regional airline of the American Airlines Group (AAG), is pleased to announce that its customer service agents, represented by Workers Communications of America (CWA), have ratified their first collective agreement, which remains in effect until February 2026. The six-and-a-half-year contract increases wages, improves work rules, improves benefits and provides job security to nearly 5,000 passenger service agents in about 100 cities in the United States. The Agreement also contains a ratification and retention bonus based on each agent`s years of service, in recognition of the time spent in the negotiations. The emissary`s president and CEO, Pedro Fébregas, said the agreement would provide new opportunities for agents while positioning the head of growth. “For more than two years, CWA members have been fighting hard at Envoy for a fair wage and family maintenance contract and a contract that treats them with the respect they deserve,” said Chris Shelton, President of the CWA. “Thanks to the commitment of our members, we now have a strong agreement that provides envoys with higher salaries, improvements in many services and better opportunities for advancing agents while continuing to make the envoy succeed.” 10.28.20 / Sent Cancer Survivor on Fight Victory . .
